Roli's Recovery

December 21: Raul was very alert with his eyes open much of the day. He can make eye contact when people speak to him. The doctors said today that they are amazed at the progress Roli has made in such a short period of time. He is looking more like himself and able to move a little more. The next step is to see him breathing on his own. The respiratory therapists are working on bringing the breathing assistance down.

December 20: Another day of therapy. Please keep praying for Roli.

December 19: Very good day today! Randi went to visit Raul today. He is in his new room (302). His eyes were open and following Randi wherever she was. Also, today he was able to point his finger at his mother's request. The doctors are anticipating Raul moving to the Rehab at Lucerne before Christmas.

December 18: The nurses stood Roli up and then sat him in a recliner for his first day of physical therapy as his arms and legs were moved for him. Raul's eyes were open the entire time during the transfer and therapy. We keep praying for progress.

In the general miasma of gloomy news regarding the economy, hearing of Raul and Randi's progress is a bright spot in the day.
Continued success to both young people and we will continue to keep them in our prayers.

Been following their progress on Innovation Church's website. Would love to hear what's been going on since the 1/16 update. Continuing to pray for full recovery!
